Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic Specialty Doctor to join the Emergency department at University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trust. The post will be based at Queens Hospital, Burton.

We have recently undergone a period of redesign and refurbishment of our on site Minor Injuries department offering a more streamlined process of managing all walk in patients through appropriate signposting and subsequent management.

Main duties of the job

There is full 24-hr middle grade cover within the Department whilst also being able to offer a proactive approach to further training, development and education, including a well-equipped Centre for simulation-based training and a very supportive educational faculty - our educational supervisors have rated highly in GMC surveys.

We have opportunities for you to undertake flexible working and would be more than happy to discuss this with you prior to interview.
