At University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust patients are at the centre of all we do.

We’re looking for passionate and committed individuals who share our values and want to invest in continuously improving patient experience.

Whether you are a newly qualified graduate Physiotherapist or soon to be qualified (in January, February and March 2021) and looking for your first role and feel passionate about patient care then we would love to hear from you.

We offer six month rotations across a range of specialties providing you with the opportunity to gain a breadth of experience. Rotations extend across Derbyshire including working in the community setting with the Integrated Care Teams in Derby City, in patient homes, Care Homes and Community Hospitals as well as rotations in the Acute Hospital environment.

Our rotations cover a variety of specialties including Neurology (Inpatients, Outpatients and Head Injuries) Trauma and Orthopaedics, Hands, MSK Outpatients including lower limb rehabilitation and gym, Specialist Medicine including Respiratory and medical HDU, Elderly Care, Paediatrics, ITU, Surgery including Amputees.

As part of the role you will be expected to take part in the emergency on-call rota including working some weekends.
