Working for our organisation

As the third largest provider of elective care and fifth largest provider of emergency care in the NHS, it is imperative that we build a skilled workforce that can meet the aspirations of the NHS, through our 2 Integrated Care Systems. Our ambition of 'Exceptional Care Together' can only be achieved by the adoption of leading-edge best practice, collaboratively, and effectively implemented. Our workforce is diverse as are the communities we serve across Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

This is an exciting time to join the Trust as we recover from the pandemic and begin to develop the workforce of the future to deliver our vision of Exceptional Care Together, supporting strategies, NHS People Plan and embedding Continuous Improvement.

Our teams have demonstrated their commitment to patient care during COVID, working more agilely through the redesign of service delivery and pathways and its imperative that workforce planning and transformation facilitates ongoing forward improvements.
