Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for;

To support our values and vision, we are seeking a Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion to join our Workforce and Organisational Development team.

As Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, you will ensure there is a clear vision to support our Inclusion Framework and promote, monitor and evaluate the framework to ensure it remains aligned to the Trust’s values.

You will be expected to develop, implement and oversee strategies to ensure that the Trust is able to respond to and meet the diverse needs of the multicultural communities across the regions it serves. You will work closely with Trust leaders providing expertise and advice ensuring the Trust’s policies, processes, and operational practice eliminate discrimination, and promote equality, diversity, and inclusion. 

You must be educated to Masters’ degree level in a social science based subject and have significant experience in a large and diverse organisation, which includes advising and influencing senior leaders in relation to matters of strategy and decision making. You must also be a visible leader who is able to engage at all levels, be a high-impact communicator and be passionate about improving the patient and staff experience of the Trust.
